Solo categories<\/span><\/h1>\n

Category 0:<\/b><\/p>\n

Category for children up to 7 years of age (including) on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration to 4 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category I:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

For performers on piano accordion or bayan,\u00a0up to 9 years (including) of age on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 2 – 4 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category II:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Performers up to 11 years of age (including)\u00a0on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 3 \u2013 5 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category III:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Performers up to 13 years of age (including)\u00a0on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 4 \u2013 6 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category IV:<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Performers up to 15 years of age (including)\u00a0on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 6 \u2013 8 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category V:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Performers up to 17 years of age (including)\u00a0on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 8 \u2013 12 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category VI:
\n<\/b>Performers up to 19 years of age (including) on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice including one composition from the Baroque period,
\nduration 10 \u2013 15 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category VII:
\n<\/b>Performers without age limit.<\/p>\n

First round:
\none harpsichord sonata by Domenico Scarlatti
\noriginal accordion composition (one piece or one movement from a cyclical piece)
\nTotal duration up to 10 min.<\/p>\n

Second round:
\nProgramme of free choice including at least one original accordion composition
\nduration 15 – 20 minutes<\/p>\n

*To the second round advances no more than half of the first round\u00a0participants.<\/p>\n

Chamber ensembles<\/span><\/h1>\n

2\u00a0– 11 musicians without conductor. These ensembles may also include other instruments, but accordions\u00a0have to predominate (not for the category VIII and IX).<\/p>\n

Category VIII:
\n<\/b>Attention change of age limit!<\/strong><\/span>
\n2 – 3 performers, average age of all players should not be more than 15 years<\/strong> (including) on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration\u00a08 \u2013 12 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category IX:
\n<\/b>2 – 3 performers without age limit.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 10\u00a0\u2013\u00a015 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category X:
\n<\/b>4\u00a0-11 performers, average age\u00a0of all players should not be more than 19 years (including) on the beginning day of the competition.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration\u00a08 \u2013 12 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category XI:
\n<\/b>4\u00a0–\u00a011 performers\u00a0 without age limit.
\nProgramme of free choice, duration 10\u00a0\u2013\u00a015 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Accordion orchestras<\/span><\/h1>\n

These ensembles may also include other instruments, but accordions\u00a0have to predominate.<\/p>\n

Category XII:
\n<\/b>Performers up to 19 years of age (including) on the beginning day of the competition.
\nThere can only be one older player in each part of the ensemble.
\nProgramme of free choice
\n8 \u2013 12 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category XIII:
\n<\/b>Performers without age limit.
\nProgramme of free choice of classical and original music
\n10 \u2013 15 minutes. One round.<\/p>\n

Category XIV:
\n<\/b>Performers without age limit.
\nProgramme of free choice of light music
