Roberto Molinelli composed this original piece for solo Accordion, string orchestra and percussions specifically for the PIF of Castelfidardo. The title is taken from the name, “Il Bosco della Musica”, of the artistic fountain designed by Tonino Guerra which is located in the gardens of Porta Marina in Castelfidardo.
Roberto Molinelli is a composer, conductor, violist and pianist, He graduated with honors and won prizes in national and international competitions. My CD on Carl Reinecke’s chamber music was awarded with “CD of the Month” prize on “CD Classical” magazine review. As a composer, arranger and conductor he collaborated with many artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Cecilia Gasdia, Anna Caterina Antonacci, Enrico Dindo, Federico Mondelci, Andrea Griminelli, Lucio Dalla, Valeria Moriconi, Giorgio Zagnoni, Danilo Rossi. He writes almost all kind of music: classical symphonic and chamber, opera, jazz, pop, rock, folk). His premieres have been performed by many Orchestras worldwide
He’s the founder of the Ensemble Opera Petite, a small ensemble which plays full operas and arias with the sound of a full orchestra with my musical arrangements of the most famous italian operas.
He’s composer of musics that embraces the more varied musical kinds (chamber and symphonic classical, jazz, light).
A lot of my premieres have been performed in many celebrated Theaters and Concert Halls rising a big success of audience and reviews.
On the occasion of the International Congress “Maria Montessori and the XXI Century” held in Chiaravalle (AN), a work has been commissioned to him: Montessoriana cantata for soprano, dramatic reading, viola, children choir and orchestra, that has debut with great success of public and criticism.
Furthermore, he arranged and conducted the Symphony Orchestra of the most famous italian pop competition, the Sanremo Festival 2005, broadcasted live worldwide, and I’ve been the President of the Jury for “Sanremolab – Accademia della Canzone di Sanremo”
His original composition has been choosen as soundtrack of the entire advertising campaign of Pasta Barilla, the worldwide famous italian pasta manufacturer, on air since September 1999.
Since January 2009 he’s Artistic Director for the Innovation of Orchestra Sinfonica “G.Rossini”
